Terms of Purchase

Introduction

These terms define the agreement between the buyer (“you”, “your”) and Arose OÜ (“we”, “us”, “our”) to ensure clarity and care.  

Each purchase from arosecreations.com represents a direct acquisition of handmade originals by the artist Daria Jegorova.

Please note that each purchase grants ownership of the physical piece only, not the copyright.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms.

Ordering & Payment

All prices are listed in euros (€).

Your order is confirmed once full payment is received.

All purchases are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order if a product is out of stock or for other valid reasons, and will notify you promptly if this happens. Accepted payment methods:

Copyright and Usage

All artworks and images on arosecreations.com are protected under:

  • the Estonian Copyright Act (Autoriõiguse seadus, RT I 1992, 49, 615), and
  • the European Union Copyright Directive (Directive 2001/29/EC).

All artworks and lampshades remain the intellectual property of Arose OÜ, whichholds full copyright to every original artwork and image. This includes:

  • Economic rights – reproduction, distribution, public display, and commercial use;
  • Moral rights – authorship, integrity, and proper attribution to the artist.

By purchasing, you own the physical piece, but not the copyright.

You may not:

  • Reproduce the artwork (in full or in part) for any purpose;
  • Modify or alter the artwork;
  • Resell or use the original or its images commercially (including prints, reproductions, or merchandise).

Any commercial or promotional use of images from arosecreations.com requires written permission from Arose OÜ. You are welcome to share photos of your purchased artwork or lampshade on social media for personal use – simply credit the artist as “Arose by Daria Jegorova”, ”arosecreations.com”, or with the correct social media account name (handles may vary between platforms).

Certificate of Authenticity

Each original artwork by Daria Jegorova comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, confirming its title, year, size, medium, and artist’s signature. This certificate verifies provenance and ensures long-term value and collectability.

Materials

All pieces are handmade using professional, high-quality materials.

For lampshades:

  • Fire resistant and UV stabilised PVC (anti-yellowing, tear resistant)
  • Anti-static treated to minimize attraction of dust
  • REACH certified and complied with BS EN 60598-1-2008 (British standard for Luminaries)
  • Passed the glow wire test by the Lighting Association
  • Adjustable fittings:
  • B22 Bayonet Cap (UK) – adaptor fitted
  • E14 Edison Screw (EU) – adaptor fitted
  • E27 Edison Screw (EU) – adaptor removed
  • E26 Edison Screw (US) – adaptor removed

For artworks:

  • Texture/modelling paste
  • Acrylic paints
  • Patina and gold leaf for detailing
  • Cotton or linen canvases, and canvas boards

Care instructions

To keep each piece as beautiful as the day it was made, avoid direct sunlight, humidity, and sudden temperature changes. Use a dry cloth only to gently clean inside the lampshade or the outer frame of the artwork.

Colour Accuracy

We make every effort to display product colours as accurately as possible.

However, please note that colours may vary slightly due to individual screen settings.

Arose OÜ cannot be held responsible for these differences.

We may update these Terms or adjust the prices from time to time.

Any updates will appear on this page, and by continuing to browse or make purchases, you accept the revised Terms.

Shipping

General Information

All artworks and lampshades are carefully handmade, packaged, and shipped from Estonia.

We deliver both within Estonia and internationally.

Shipping costs are already included in the product price — no additional delivery fees will be charged at checkout.

Processing time

Each order is processed within 3–5 business days after payment confirmation.

For commissions, production times may vary – please refer to the “Commissions” section for details.

Please note that we do not ship on weekends or public holidays.

Delivery time

Estimated delivery times:

            •          Estonia: 2–7 business days

            •          Europe: 7–14 business days

            •          Rest of the world: 10–30 business days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs or postal delays.

Items are shipped to the address provided in your order.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation with tracking details (where available).

Customs and Import Taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees that may apply once the shipment reaches their country.

We cannot be held responsible for customs charges or delays.

Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged or is significantly delayed, please contact us at design.arose@gmail.com with your order details and tracking number. We’ll assist in investigating and resolving the issue with the shipping carrier.

Returns

We truly want you to be happy with your purchase.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied, you have the right to return your order within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery, in accordance with Estonian and EU Consumer Protection Law.

Conditions for Return

  • The product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.All tags and labels must remain attached.
  • Items mast be securely packaged to avoid damage during return shipping.
  • Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

If the returned item shows signs of use or damage, a partial refund or no refund may apply to reflect its reduced value.

How to Start a Return

To begin a return, please email design.arose@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your item, including:

  • Your full name
  • Order number and purchase receipt
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return

After reviewing your request, we will provide return instructions.

Once your return is confirmed, you must provide proof that the item has been dispatched within the specified time.

Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Exceptions

All commissioned works are proved by the buyer before production.

They are non-refundable and cannot be returned, unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, you’ll be notified about the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be issued within 14 days using the same payment method as your original purchase.

Refunds include the item’s purchase price, but return shipping costs are not refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., damaged or incorrect item).

Refunds are not issued for damaged packaging unless the artwork or product itself is affected.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photo evidence of both the item and packaging at design.arose@gmail.com.

We’ll arrange either a replacement or a full refund. Refunds are not issued for damaged packaging unless the artwork itself is affected.

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper use, handling, or storage after receipt of the goods.

Commissions

I accept commission requests for both artworks and lampshades.

You can order:

  • A recreation of a previously sold piece, either in similar or different shades and/or dimensions;
  • An existing design in different shades and/or dimensions;
  • A custom work inspired by your sketches, ideas, or preferences.

How to order a commission

  1. Fill in the “Contact” form with all the details you would like to include – size, theme, colours/palette, the feeling you want the work to hold and anything else you find important.
  2. Before production begins, we’ll confirm everything together: size, colour palette, and general concept. At this stage, a deposit of 100 € is required. (You will receive an invoice.)
  3. The estimated processing time – from your request to dispatch – may take between 14 and 30 days, depending on the complexity, our communication pace, and the number of ongoing orders.
  4. Once your piece is finished, I’ll send you an email with a photograph of your artwork and its final price.
  5. If you are happy with the result, you’ll receive an invoice for the remaining amount (the 100 € deposit will be deducted).
  6. After the full payment is received, your exclusive piece is carefully packaged and sent to you. (See  “Shipping” and “Returns” for details.)

Please note that commissioned works are non-refundable and cannot be returned, as they are made especially for you.

An exception applies only if the item was damaged during delivery. In such cases, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund, or for the creation of a replacement piece – depending on the extent of the damage and our mutual agreement.
